Cowhorn Mountain Hike

The hiking season is upon us ladies and gents and we are going to kick it off with a nice conditioning hike! Cowhorn Mountain. It’s a medium challenging 9 mile hike, at approximately 5 hours in duration. Come with us and enjoy some Recreational Therapy and the sights of the Pacific Northwest along the PCT. This isn’t an excruciating hike but also isn’t for the faint of heart. This hike is open to Veterans and family.

Gear at a minimum should consist of light breezy hike wear, a good hiking boot or shoe, a water source, and something to munch on!

This will be a day event. We will meet at the VFW in Albany, the address for this event is that location, @ 7:00 on July 10th. We will work driving arrangements or take our Bus we purchased for just these events! TBD. We will convoy up to the trail head a couple hours away and we will take instruction from our newest board member and hiking/outdoor event specialist, Mark Erickson, US Navy Veteran. Following Mr. Erickson up the trail and Cowhorn Mountain while enjoying everything along the way.

Join us for this therapeutic and freeing hike. See you all there!
